Crates are large containers used to transport large, heavy or bulky items. We often see them on shipping lines and aircraft cargoes. When we fly to another destination and we want to bring our pet with us, we cannot just use any kind of crate like wooden ones. For our dogs, there are specially made dog crates to make them feel comfortable no matter how long the flight is.
Dogs naturally like spaces similar to dens which is an enclosed space where they feel comfortable and protected. They enjoy this when they are lonely or even when sick. This is the reason why dog crates are very important nowadays. You can even put your dogs in a crate when they misbehave in the house. Dog crates are very effective way to keep your pets safe home or away from home, but always be sure you use a pet crate tag for identification.
